What is Token-2022?
The newer extensible token program on Solana — not a different blockchain.
Token-2022 is a newer Solana token program that supports optional extensions such as transfer fees and permanent delegate.
It still runs on Solana. Choosing Token-2022 does not move your project to another chain; it selects a different on-chain program with more features and some ecosystem compatibility trade-offs.
