SPL vs Token-2022
When to pick Classic SPL versus Token-2022.
Use Classic SPL when you want the broadest compatibility for ordinary token use cases.
Use Token-2022 when you need extensions such as transfer fees. Some liquidity paths (including Token-2022 CPMM on Monkey Tools) are not currently supported — check the create-liquidity UI before you launch.
