Why does a transaction cost SOL?
Network fees, rent, protocol costs, and optional Monkey Tools service fees.
Every Solana transaction needs SOL for network fees. Creating accounts also requires rent-exempt deposits.
Some Monkey Tools actions also charge a Monkey Tools Service Fee. Protocol actions (for example Raydium pool creation) can require additional SOL that is not Monkey Tools revenue. See Pricing.
